47th Edition of CIFF Guangzhou

CIFF, the world’s largest furniture exhibition and FM Magazine partner event, will welcome an estimated 300,000 visitors in Guangzhou from March 18th to 21st and 28th to 30th.

 

Organised under the theme, “Design Trend, Global Trade, Full Supply Chain”, the 47th Edition of the event will host over 4,000 exhibitors on a total floor area of 750,000 sq. metres, cementing its position as the premier forum for the introduction of new design trends and innovation in furniture manufacturing.

2021 sees the launch of the “CIFF Designers’ Circle”, a new programme to support better interaction between the design community and manufacturers by gathering together many of the leading brands in the furniture and soft furnishings sectors. CIFF Designers’ Circle is additionally expected to spearhead a search for new products, new methods, new formats, new requests and new markets.

As the only furniture exhibition globally to represent the entire industry supply chain, CIFF focuses on five core themes; namely, Home Furniture, Office Furniture, Home Decor and Textiles, and Outdoor and Leisure furniture.

CIFM/interzum Guangzhou, a one-stop purchasing service for global trade buyers, will also match B2B buyers to manufacturers through a series of online as well as offline events. 

The first phase of the event from 18th to 21st March will focus on the diverse range of furniture solutions offered by exhibitors, and highlight the the importance of the design sector in adding value during a special, “Design Spring” event showcasing contemporary Chinese furniture.  A complementary “Design Dream Show” will present furniture and soft furnishing solutions for domestic settings, with a focus on better living.

The second stage of the exhibition, from 28th to 31t March, will feature the Office Show – the world’s largest furniture exhibition offering a complete overview of workplace solutions and solutions for public spaces; as well as dedicated product and services offerings from companies supplying medical, healthcare and learning environments.

2021 will also feature a spotlight on smart offices, and furniture and soft furnishing solutions for home offices in the post-Covid-19 environment.

A dedicated Office Environment Pavillion will provide visitors with the opportunity to consider the needs of a younger generation of office workers and feature “2030 Future Office” concept designs.

Furniture manufacturing tools and machinery will also be on exhibit in 2021.
